  1. Ask  what their preferred method of conversing 
  2. For the HOH from mild though profound hearing loss - Get our attention, ask if now is good time to listen, speak in a  clear concise four count rhythm, and  speak face to face.
  3. Closed Captioning for Deaf/HOH via Live Transcribe, Apple IPhone Caption or Otter.

Yes, I have had hearing loss  since birth and have worn hearing aids since age 22 after nursing school. So, I have adapted to this disability and would like to help change the global view on hearing loss and reduce the cases of it.
